Reconciliation note: UIS XGDP.FSGOV ("government expenditure on education as a percentage of GDP, all levels") is the same concept and the same underlying UIS finance collection the World Bank republishes as SE.XPD.TOTL.GD.ZS -- close agreement is expected; a real gap would point to the Bank's copy lagging a UIS revision (e.g. a fiscal-year GDP denominator update) rather than a genuine spending difference.

Caveats¶

Government spending only; excludes household and donor spending on education, both significant in Nepal.
